Acting / Musical Theatre Coaching
Our Specialty!
(For students combining both singing and acting, we recommend at least 45 minutes for lessons)
Required Materials
We will provide and determine appropriate monologues soon after lessons begin.
In addition to monologues, for Music Theatre students ages 6-10
we recommend that you purchase any book from the series Solos for Kids published by Hal Leonard (Disney Solos for Kids, Broadway Solos for Kids, etc..) This series includes an accompaniment cd helpful for practice.
For students 11+ we recommend that you purchase any book from the Hal Leonard Singing Actor series. As students advance in their skills, additional materials may be required.

What To Expect!
Students will learn, practice and master natural stage movement, exploring body language/non-verbal communication, characterization, vocal placement and projection, basic dialects, and what to expect at auditions. Whether acting with or without music, learning to command the stage with confidence, authenticity and grace is the goal of our coaching! We'd also love to direct and inform you regarding upcoming Kansas City area productions and auditions so you can begin to go "Stage to Stage!"
